Black Friday VPN deals 2026
We track VPN pricing every month, not just in November — which puts us in an unusual position to tell you something most Black Friday pages will not: the discount is smaller than the banners suggest, and waiting for it is usually the wrong call.
Black Friday 2026 is November 27, 2026
That is 77 days away, and no Black Friday pricing is running yet. The prices below are today's, verified at the checkout. We update this page in early November with whatever we find there.
Our advice if you need a VPN now: buy now. The likely November saving is a dollar or two a month on the first term, and every VPN here has a 31-day refund — so if something materially better appears, claim the refund and re-buy. Spending 77 days unprotected to save that is a bad trade.
Today's prices, ranked by what three years actually costs
Not by the headline rate. The introductory price covers the first term and then the plan renews, so the three-year total is the number that decides which offer is genuinely cheapest — and it reorders the list substantially.

Why we tell people not to wait
Almost every Black Friday VPN page is written in October by someone who does not track prices the rest of the year, which is why they all describe November as if it were a different market. It is not. VPN providers discount aggressively in every month, because the two-year plan is the product and the monthly rate largely exists to make it look cheap.
What genuinely changes in November is the packaging: extra free months bolted onto the first term, occasionally a longer plan length that is not offered the rest of the year. Those are worth having. They are not worth going without a VPN for three months to get, and they do not survive into the renewal — which is where the real money is.
What to actually look at
The three-year total, not the monthly rate. The cheapest introductory price on this site belongs to a VPN that is not the cheapest over three years, because it renews at a much higher rate. That is the single most useful thing we can tell you about VPN pricing and it is true in November as much as in September.
The refund window. Every VPN we rate has at least 30 days except one, and we have claimed each guarantee to check it is honoured. That window is what makes buying now low-risk: if November brings something materially better, claim and re-buy.
Whether the VPN is right for you at all. A bad VPN at 90% off is a bad VPN. The five-question finder narrows it in about a minute, and the full ranking has the test data behind every score.
Common questions
Are VPN Black Friday deals actually better?
Usually a little, and by less than the marketing implies. The everyday two-year price and the November price have been within about a dollar a month of each other in the periods we have tracked. The genuinely different offers tend to be extra free months added to the first term rather than a lower monthly rate — which is worth having, but is not the 90% the banners suggest.
Should I wait until Black Friday to buy a VPN?
Only if you do not need one before then. The saving is real but modest, and you would spend the intervening months unprotected on public Wi-Fi to capture it. If you need a VPN now, buy now — every provider we rate has a 30-day refund, so if a materially better offer appears in November you can claim the refund and re-buy.
When does Black Friday VPN pricing start?
Earlier every year. Most providers now run their November pricing from the start of the month through to Cyber Monday, so the specific Friday matters less than it used to. A few extend into early December.
Do I need a coupon code for a Black Friday VPN deal?
Almost never. Every provider we track applies its discount by link rather than by code. Sites offering an 'exclusive Black Friday code' are showing you something the checkout does not ask for.
What is the catch with Black Friday VPN deals?
The same catch as every other month: the discount covers the first term, then the plan renews at a higher rate. A three-year total at the November price is often within a few dollars of a three-year total bought in September, because both roll onto the same renewal. Price the renewal, not the banner.
Which VPN has the best Black Friday deal?
It changes, and we update this page in early November with what we find at the actual checkouts rather than from press releases. What does not change is the method: the offer worth taking is the one with the lowest three-year total including renewal, for a VPN that scores well on the things you need.
